The fact that the opposition can't let go of their old grudges will always be the reason for them never being able to compete for more than a month at a time. When the box only has 150 players the truth is that you are always going to have to play with people you dislike when there are only two guilds to choose from.

Nihilum has a bunch of faggots in it but so does Azrael.. if you want to make a real third option you need to be pretty open about who you let it or not (based on personality). You are dooming your guild to fail when you decide not to let people in because you don't like the guild they belonged to.

This is not quake u nerds, its everquest. The goal is to kill dragons and kill other players (preferably both at the same time). We are all here because we enjoy pvp but that "blubie" shit is played out.. cause people like Salem still leveled two characters to level 60 with one being a hybrid and then completed his epic. Do you realize how much time he spent that was devoted to PvE? If you can't even contest the PvE content then your guild does not matter in this game.

Uh, where exactly did I say that? Being a plumber is a career. Being an electrician is a career. Almost every trade based career rewards those that stick it out through the process until they are a Master XXX. Switching jobs every year to something completely different = not a career. And where did I say anything about college? If you dig through my post history I've said spending money on college was a waste of money, and almost nothing you learn is ultimately valuable to your chosen profession.

Unless you are starting your own business you need college to get the type of entry level job you desire. I often wish I had gotten a real job and taught myself some discipline, learned that many jobs you get without a degree suck ass so I would have had more motivation in college.

It's never to late to go back to school.

If you are in your 20's or younger college in pretty much REQUIRED in this day and age. While it is possible to make a living by forgoing college and working straight out of highschool you are going to be in for a long and arduous life. My father was a general contractor and owner of Williams home improvements, we lived in a huge house in an affluent neighborhood, went to private catholic schools and got whatever we needed as kids. My pops paid dearly for all these things though by working 13 hour days and had his body literally give out on him by age 50 from all the years of hard physical work (He needed a knee replacement, broke his arm and countless fingers, arthritis in his hands and knees and had a disk removed in his back). If you are content with just getting by and sacrificing your body then you don't need to go to school (or if you have a large amount of money to spend after highschool to invest which most don't). If you want a 401k, Stock Options, Retirement Plan, Health Insurance and security within your career then you need to get your ass in school. Barclays aint gunna be hiring some 18 year old schmuck who lays bricks, u feels me?

The mistake some may make is getting a useless degree. Do NOT major in liberal arts or history and expect to get an actual job after you graduate. Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Communications, Nursing and teaching are some solid examples of degrees that will always be highly useful.

I mean who wouldn't prefer working an 8 hour day at the office and coming home to your family with actual free time to spend with your kids and still have the energy to bang your wife at night?
