So, Titanium is required, is there anywhere you can get it for less than like 70+ bucks? Wife and I would love to play some old classic EQ, but Im not sure I want to spend 200 bucks to do it.
Any help?
Thanks!

Lol...I can download the game from sony because we have accounts there, but it won't be the bare bones non-patched version I don't think.

I know how to find stuff my friend. There are other emu projects where believe it or not, you not only have to have physical copies proven to the devs, but you need to have pictures of the folks playing with the game copy and written email addresses and a lot of stuff before they let you register an account.
Everywhere is different.

sail the high seas until you reach a bay, quest in that bay endlessly (questing for ever one might say) for a lovely young lass named Tita Nium.
Also, you'll need a virtual clone drive to mount the ISOs to.

Ok, that's what I have been following, thanks for the response. I am down through step 4, the only step that seemed off was step 2B. Took a while to finally get there, then brought me to a page I had already registered on earlier in the process, step 2A.
Getting a message saying it could not establish a connection, talk to sony or something. Never even get to a login screen, so credentials don't seem to be the issue.

Alright, now I can get into the character creation, but it says my spell files are outdated. I used Duxa's installer, which made things easier, but now I can't create.
Anyone experienced this? I've tried the putting the latest patch in, but still a no go.

Yep, I have done that, even though my virus protection doesn't like that file so it takes me several attempts, and even turning it off to get the file. Then I extract it into the EQ folder which I think is right, but still the same result.

I get the "spell files are outdated" error all of the freaking time, even though it's not outdated. If there is any kind of hiccup in your connection between server select and character select, it will not register that you have the updated file. Just have to keep trying until you don't get it.

Ahhh...ok then, I will try that.
Thanks.
