Hey folks, I'm anxious to return to P1999, but the installation process has stymied me. The game was installed on the same machine, running the same OS, several months ago, but now, whenever I attempt to run setup.exe, Windows will either a) hang in the loading process [only when I run through a virtual drive] or b) give me the SOE loading screen, and then crash [if I extract the disc to a folder and then run]. Yet setup.exe runs perfectly fine on my laptop.
The only difference between my PC then and my PC now is that now my C: drive (OS/Games) is a SSD. I'm even using the same EQ Titanium copy that I originally installed from.
Everything other game that I've installed recently--Marvel Heroes, Transistor--has run perfectly.
Anyone have a suggestion?
