Starting a new guild on the Red Server

In an effort to make the red server more fun for everybody I've decided to consider the option of creating my own guild from the ground up. I just want to get an idea of how many people would be interested. I need 1 co-leader, 8 officers, and 48 members. I want to have an event pretty much every night. I am a very skilled player and know every encounter very well from Classic - Kunark. I'm willing to teach anybody that wants to learn how to really play eq. I won't waste my time on complainers or people that refuse to work as a team. I'm generally a pretty nice guy and I feel like gearing up my guild is just as rewarding as gearing myself. I wont spoon feed any of you, but i will help you.

In case you didn't know, there is a MASSIVE exp boost currently on the red server for a long term period. i predict I could take a group from 1 to 60 in about 45-60 days just playing 2-3 scheduled hours a day. I plan to be a prominent force in Norrath, this is a very rare and unique opportunity.

I currently have a 60 monk 60 ench 60 wizard 55 druid 40 necro on the red server as well as 2 fungi tunics and 50k raw plat. I plan on leveling a warrior from 1-60 at scheduled times with a group of 6 if I can find people interested. If i can get enough people interested and tons of members, we can take over a few zones and have daily exp sessions just a few hours a day and over time quickly be ready for the planar zones.Planar zones themselves are great exp. I plan on giving all new members some basic MR gear and a little spare platinum for beginner spells. You will be earning anything decent though. Raid times would be anywhere from 6-11pm EST lasting only 1-3 hours.

Why does guildname sound like IBs leader Hokushin o.O. I'd vote for a new name if you follow through with plans. What's really needed though is for folks not in nihilum to actually organize. Following the raid scene from forum end it looks like things were improving the last couple months. However the last few days their who all numbers have been absymal. Where is the heart and fire behind what was started and did the Azrael ball really stop rolling? I for one hope not for the sake of legit competition.

I havent played on blue since the day red went live, i truly dont know any guild names on blue. Guild name is currently one of my last concerns. get at my PM box and tell me a bit about yourself and what position you want to apply for.

looks like I got enough recruits to start a full group, were getting started tomorrow,I will be hosting daily exp groups of specific levels everyday for a few hours. the level of the group will vary it wont be if you get left behind you cant play anymore. tomorrow will be level 1-20, the day after may be 1-20 as well on different character, or it may be 20-30 on the original based on who show up. Will be daily events for a few hours tho everyday so get on board! keep sending me PM's people have lots of spots to fill

With nihilum zerging the server with plans of killing off the population and ruining pvp in all of norrath I've decided to start a new faction. we will have daily events 7 days a week. the first 2 weeks will be mostly exp groups but in 2-4 weeks i plan to be in the planes. no time better than now to get started on red! lets work together to raise the population, take down nihilum, and have some fun!

Man I wish I had a more consistent schedule and could do this with you. I seem to struggle to find groups on red, but when I do, I love the exp. Currently have 4 characters on red (20 shaman, 16 warrior, 16 cleric, and 10 SK) but finding a group with any has been tough the past week or so.

Also, love the guild name. Not sure if you got it from there, but I'm a huge FFT fan.

Not many leveling rogues as far as I'm aware, mainly due to lack of gear. Many more monks and SKs particularly.

Everything melee is gear dependant though. If you want something you don't have to gear for, try a necro :)

I really enjoy playing melee classes over a caster - even if there is a struggle to start.

I am thinking maybe a Rogue, Bard, or even...the dreaded Ranger!

Speaking for myself here, not for the guild.

I have been in the guild for a week. I have not seen any evidence of crying. Don't see people begging for handouts or PL either.

I for one am very glad this post was here. I had only got to 48 on blue and the raid scene seemed boring and well you folks still on blue know and don't need me to spell it out. I had no desire to finish leveling to 60 and grinding the same raid content as I did on live with all the whining over contested content.

Hoping the population in red keeps growing. Pvp is a bit lacking at least up to level 35. Shout out to Blasty. Many call him a griefer or a prick but I am glad for people like him making the server truly Pvp.

More than enough nice people on Red. Need more bad guys to hate and hunt. I keep my /role off whenever possible so do who all Thunderfoot and you will know where to find me. Let the ganking begin!

I just wish there was a way to remove the Pvp level range limit. Then I could get killed much more often.
