When Velious came out, did clerics ever upgrade their weapons?

I'm trying to recall but all I remember is the flail. Maybe because my guild was wiping so much.

Well cleric epic is always carried, in terms of equiping it, you will be hard pressed to find upgrades. They either come from North Temple of Veeshan or your clickies/toys in Veeshan's Peak and Sleeper's Tomb.

In terms of an actual upgrade to wear all the time over epic, there is really just one choice for the discerning cleric, Blackstar, Mace of Night (http://wiki.project1999.com/Blackstar,_Mace_of_Night).

If you need slightly better resists for slightly less hp/mana, Sprinkler of the Spirits (http://wiki.project1999.com/Sprinkler_of_the_Spirits).

Once the Celestial Elixir BP and Donals BP nerfs are completed, clerics can only rely upon Shissar Apothic Staff (http://wiki.project1999.com/Shissar_Apothic_Staff) for free unlimited clickie heals.

For funsies, Clerics can pick up Primal Velium Battlehammer (http://wiki.project1999.com/Primal_Velium_Battlehammer) or Primal/Priceless Velium Brawl Sticks (http://wiki.project1999.com/Primal_Velium_Brawl_Stick).

Sprinkler for high resist fights but... As has been mentioned before, Velious the most important resist is Wall/Positioning.

Also worth noting the Donal's Legs work as a clicky heal, but eat a Peridot. And require you have Naltron's not Marzin's.

To that point, even Velious quest legs have the lower level group heal for free too.
