I was wondering whats the deal with the root spell.
Random duration?
Anything to do with stats ? (CHA, DEX, etc...) It seems it has a lot to do with the lvl of the mobs your facing, but... can we improve its stability? Any comments appreciated...

Best info on Roots I know of is here:
http://www.graffe.com/library.php?id=29
Basically there is a max duration, and a chance to break depending on the type of root used, and level of caster vs level of mob, etc...

All I can say about root so far is that if it is broken, it is seriously broken in our favor right now. I've rooted mobs in nro on my lowbie clr and nuked 50% or more of the life out of them without breaking it. I don't remember ever being able to nuke that many times in classic and not breaking it. I'd be lucky to nuke twice, let alone 3+ times without rerooting. Lately I've been nuking 6+ times and waiting for it to wear off naturally.

Yep root seems to work much more reliably than it did on Live. I like it, this is how it should be :)

Yes, compare to classic, it looks a little bit better!
Thanks to fwaits for link =)

Enstill is even better as a wizard. I was shocked to see 70% of nukes not break enstill. Makes soloing quite a bit less hazardous/annoying.
