I used one of these at holiday day inn express recently and I woke up this morning like. damn I need one of them.

I looked into it and theyre $3,000+ WTF

So that got me thinkin about waffles:

This one can be done easily for $50-100, and the little monster can even cook omelets.

What else can I do to streamline my breakfast experience?

I want to sleep more before work without sacrificing the best part of every day.

i ended up just buying a frying pan and a bunch of eggs

A well seasoned cast iron pan is equivalent in effectiveness but far superior in durability and ease of maintenance. The reason the industry moved towards non-stick frying pans is that you will only need one cast iron pan in your lifetime.

The non-stick surface wears off into your food and eventually becomes ineffective so they can sell you 5-10 non-stick pans instead of one cast iron over your lifetime.

Take a slice of bread, i like potato bread. Butter each side, cut out a circle in the middle and toss onto frying pan medium heat. Crack an egg into hole, cook for 2 mins, flip, repeat. Shred cheese on top, maybe a thin slice of ham, profit.
