First off, I'm rolling a warrior.

2nd- Im decided what race to make at the moment.

That being said, which would be the best race for me. Obv Ogre/troll are Badass warriors. But my only concern is, being a low pop server, would it be advantageous to make a good aligned warrior so im able to get around more/possibly have more possible quests?

Tbh if you plan on end game raiding put your points into charisma for DI. Your melee stars will all be 255 even with Kunark gear with shaman buffs.

Yeah, but Higelac was made in the late velious/pre-luclin era. Who knows how much time left we have in Kunark. The regen is a negligible benefit and the extra AC is kinda meh compared to frontal stun immunity. I admit it's less of an issue for a pure melee but I'd still pick that over the AC bonus.

No, max points to CHA. You want + % chance to trigger DI. Higher dex can be obtained much more easily through common warrior equipment. CHA can not.

I would go Iksar because they will be better in Velius and still able to wear plate.

Fair point! Although unless this guy has aspirations of MTing for a big guild that doesn't really factor in, and the dex leveling up to proc agro weapons will have a far greater effect.

I would be interested in hardcore raiding again, but it might be some time before I'm set up for that. Up to 18 now though, but at this point for a warrior soloing isn't really an option. At least we have high pop! ;)

If your kiting on a solo melee u strafe run anyway with something large and slow. so stun immunity is kinda nice for not getting bashed during that, but your not getting bashed that much.

isnt it only frontal stun immunity? like the mob or person has to be directly in front of you for it to work.

when I do it I mouse turn to face the mob joust it, and strafe away at an angle till I can get ahead I usually only get hit once for every time I take a swing. It doesn't really help on mobs you can't hit often but it works great to save on downtime if your out in a big open zone.
