When I get to the login screen and type in my password, I just get the 'Logging into the server please wait...' screen and it pretty much freezes here and I have to exit out of the program. I can't even get to the server select screen. Anyone know whats up?

Similar versions of this problem are happening to a lot of people right now :(

I might add that this is a fresh install, I've been away from p1999 for over a year and was gonna jump in and see how things are going..not entirely sure if I did everything correct or this is just a server problem.

This is happening to me tonight and last night - cant log in and the P99 website doesnt load. It goes away for ~30 min then starts up again for a random amount of time.

I am getting the same issues, complete and utter desync at typically between 930-1AM CST. It gets so bad that I cannot attack mobs, I cannot see their health bar move down at all, tells take about 5 minutes to actually get sent and received. When I log to correct these issues it wont let me log back in to the login server. It just sits at the login screen and tries to connect. When I do actually get through to the server select when it is reacting this way it will either pull up 1. A black screen 2. Try to connect to the server and then pulls up an unknown error. 3. Kicks me back to login or 4. Freezes up

To further clarify the rediculousness of this problem. I am also experiencing it daily, at a specific time, and only on the blue server. When it clears and finally lets me log in, it takes only 10 minutes before I notice my spells arent really casting.... I cant open my inventory... I can't sent tells to ppl in game that may have problem, etc.

It is extremely, extremely, disheartening to be a returning player and trying really hard to enjoy the game as is... but then when all this extra bullshit going on and, an absolutely nothing being done about it. I've seen posts from up to 3 years ago with the same problem, in which none received a fix nor posted a fix.

Not only are the people behind the scenes failing... but I have to resummon my noob necro pet about 10 times before I get the one I want. (about 10p worth of chips). Then by then the game acts up or begins to act fine then acts up again. Over and over and over.... every day, no fix.... next day happen again, check forum, no fix.... they seriously read this shit just like we do but they ignore it cuz they don't have the skill to fix it. The expertise. The know-how. The care.... fucking fix the problem...

If the problem is a networking issue in the Southern US, there's nothing they can do about it.

I'm having the same issues, also Texas based player.

I've noticed that whenever the lag, or desync, or whatever it is happens, I also cannot access the p1999 website.

At first I thought it was an issue with my p99 files, but it seems to be some greater error.

I'll have the Pope hold a candle light vigil for those of us afflicted.

I returned a while back, and was having no problems, i went from level 31 to 36 or 37, and then i started having problems at around prime time hours, 7ish to midnight. Yes it affects the P99WIKI, and P99FORUMS websites, i guess its the same server running the show.

I might have to call my ISP and ask them if they are blocking it for some reason, i'm not sure why. I have tried changing setting on ROuter, short of removing FW, but i doubt anything on my end is the problem.

The ISP is denying the service from this specific server, because all other websites run fine. Maybe i will give them a call and ask them WTH are they testing or doing that affects that particular address.

I have found using my VPN stops it.

Same issues today, been going for the past 4 days. Located in Austin. Seems to be something with Time Warner Cable.
