Stuck on "Logging in to the Server. Please wait..."

I'm trying to log in but it's stuck on the little screen after clicking login on the user/password screen. Can anyone help?

I've checked my eqhost.txt file. It has the following information.

[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998 (I tried it with login2 also)

I also tried to login using the 5999 number and I can get to the server selection screen no problem.

A complete re-install fixed this however my account has no characters but I haven't played for a couple years, hopefully they are not wiped.

They don't wipe chars :)
Just make sure you have the correct patches / login info and you should be good to go

I followed all the install steps. I'm wondering if I somehow messed up the linking between my eqemu account and this one?
