So I did a quick read through of the Red PnP (which is a good policy IMO) and was wondering about your implementation of loot and scoot. If I remember correctly from my VZ days, loot and scoot was to protect the person who was victorious from some idiot bind rushing for a period of like an hour or something like that. On red, it seems designed to protect the person who was killed. Is there a specific reason for that? To me it seems more logical that the defeated party should be required to vacate the zone in which they were killed and not have that be something that was granted.

very true, bind rushing still valid tactic here. most people are so immersed they just don't give up.

in this day it is expected that the person will come back, and therefore you sit on their corpse. That is why the person on the CR needs protection

Because people WILL corpse camp you if you die. Also, LNS is not required so in mass pvp its very common to be rezd back in or ported back into the fight.

60 pvp is pretty much kill as many as possible then sit on corpses until PVE is achieved.

Well that's unfortunate. I'd hate to go through my entire mana bar dropping some warrior or something in DL only to have him be bound in FV and come back and jack me when I am still relatively OOM.

if he doesn't call LNS immediately, that should tell u to med up on his corpse. He will be much easier to kill naked, and even rootable.

Yeah but I killed the guy to get rid of him. Not to have to deal with him being a jerk.

Everquest.

It doesn't have to be. The PvP teams servers got rid of that crap relatively early on in their lifespan. It made the playing experience much better.

This isn't really an issue. Stop making it one.

Without jerks, there would be no meaningful pvp.

I was just looking for clarification as to the reasons why this rule was different than it was on live. If bind rushing isn't an issue (which is contrary to the second post in this thread) then it's cool.
