Hello all,

I started my download/install and am hoping to begin playing tonight. I quit many years ago and was excited to find this site.

I will be returning as a halfling druid and was hoping for some advice. Are there any repeatable quests I should know about in my starting zone?

I never did tradeskills before, but is it worth it to start tailoring to get some bags early on?

Thanks everyone.

Not that I am a vet here at all, but I just purchased backpacks as I could sold the tradeskill items best I could to fund my journey!

You will quickly find it is a great community with many helpful people in Norrath that you will cross paths with! Welcome back and enjoy!

Tons of great info in these forums for you to read up on and a lot of item will point to the wiki which has been most helpful.

Welcome back! Halflings are the best class, in my opinion - so good choice!

if you can get a port over to BB i can hook you up with some stacks of bone chips for the bone chips quest in Kaladim. On my high elf cleric, farming and turning in bone chips took me from 1-9 and will get you a good amount of gold in the process.

Thanks. Once I get re-acquainted with the interface / mechanics, I will send you a PM.

Check out Duxa UI in the technical forums, you won't regret it.

EDIT: PS: Welcome to the server!

Best area for leveling for 1-16 IMO is the Qeynos hills area. Not only are gnoll fangs pretty sick experience but there is a quest line for putrid pelts that rewards 1-2 pp per pelt returned. Great for a level 4-5.

"diseased" pelts, I think. decent money and xp but the spawn rate for the 2 rabid wolves isn't awesome, so it's a lot of running around and looking. Which might be better than NOT running around for an even slower static spawn, which you will do plenty of in later levels too.

Thank you all for the advice and help.

After thinking about it for a while, I decided to try a class I have not played before. I now have a level 3 High Elf Enchanter.

They always used to be Taboo to me because they were harder to play than most classes, or so I was told. This is my chance to find out.

My little halfling will be on hold for a few nights :P
