Enough money for 1 spell at lvl 5 as a shaman

Frost Rift is your dd spell at 5 and Sicken is your disease based dot. I think you would kill stuff quicker with frost rift

I say Sicken because you don't have meditate yet and won't have much mana to throw around. By 8 you will definitely have enough to get your nuke.

Cheers, thanks for the advice. Starting to save up a little bit more money to buy a spell or two. I'll go for Sicken first and then the nuke.

If you're an ogre, you can do the lizard meat quest in the greenblood guild. 4 meats turned in to one of the gms in there will get you some xp and a rusty 2h sword you can sell for a few gold. It's repeatable, so camp some lizard men in feerrott till you've got a few stacks of meat and go turn em in 4 at a time. Trolls might be able to do it, but I've been attacked as an ogre in grobb, so there might be some faction issues somewhere in there.

hundreds of thousands of casters have been in your shoes. eventually pp incoming will be more than pp outgoing. dont worry about it too much, just get the spells you need. worse case scenario sell bone chips or hunt for cracked staffs.

Hold off till lvl 9 spells as punishment for not practicing due diligence by farming cracked staff for spell money and use the time to think about what you have done.
