Ok can we release Kunark already or wat??? Look im all down for Old EQ but lets be real Kunark and Velious is what people want to play on this server for. So Let us be a Iksar so we dont have to be level 1 while our buddies are level 50.


P.S. yes this is my first post!!! but im not flaming, baiting, or anything which stirs up anger. I appreciate the Server team. I just wish all the zones and expacs were unlocked(well at least to Kunark cuz of playable races). This is my only deterant from actually committing to this server. And i really dont want to start when Kunark launches as right now i have best chances for finding groups at low levels.

at first i wanted all 3 as well, but people need to realize the server needs more time to get a little more population. i think once they hit 1000-1500 average it would be a good time. When kunark gets added, that's ton of zones, and its going to spread everyone out even more, that's the whole reason i don't play on live now, there's 4 billion zones and 15 players (hyperbole). This game is about community, and the social aspect. If people want to grind monsters all day by themselves play diablo single player, or any number of other, very good single player rpgs.

So really, just let them decide when to put it out, its a great time to be a new player on here, i'm basically new and i've had a lot of fun grouping so far. Lots of lowbies!!

I deff. understand what you're getting at here, but dont you think if people get bored because they know the ins and outs of this game now, that people will start to QUIT playing if new content isn't implimented sooner?
If the devs want a higher population count and are waiting it out, I feel that could deff. backfire.

But to the OP - make a 'farming' class that can go get you stuff. Even just a pile of PP will make your leveling easier.

That and I bet Field of Bone will be anything but 'dead' on the day Kunark opens up.

But remember that we always give people more slack when we deal with them face-to-face than we do on the internet. The person you call a dip#### or whatever other names you might use is also human...I've seen people, particularly on these forums, treat others in really inhumane ways. I can see it coming - "they're just words, it's just the internet." But it always reflects in real life, eventually. None of the jerks i've met on the internet are ever quite as bad in person, but I can always see a bit of what they've done on the internet spill over into their day to day interactions.

People aren't as good as compartmentalizing as they think.

Or heaven forbid play an alt without twinking him/her... and make friends with a new player and level up together. As a newer player I will say it's pretty lonely. Sure it's great to see all the people in old content. But after 22 levels of pretty much soloing, I miss the type of comraderie that was abundant in original '99 EQ.

This server has too many twinks, powerleveled characters, and guild elitists :P. Which is not too welcoming an environment for new players.

I agree here. Edric (I think that's his name) gave me an invis + invis to undead in lguk so i could run and get a quest item from the hand room. Couldn't have done it without him. I routinely get ambush-clarity from kind enchanters.
