It's fun starting from scratch, hunting/questing for your own equipment instead of farming plat to EC it.

Problem is, as your running around in sucky stuff in the early levels you can guarantee lots of well meaning players will try push some nice equipment on to you for free/cheap and it feels very rude to refuse it.

I find when this happens the best thing to do is equip it and maybe use it until you can find someone else to push the item on to.

Well, I'm done for. I've deleted everything. All gear, plat, etc gone. You guys are a great community, but I'm terrible at the game and I can't even decide on a class to be most terrible at. Good luck all, wish you guys on P1999 the best.

What keeps you from deleting the next time you make it to some arbitrary level where things aren't as fun as they were? :P

Usually people who do stuff like this do it a lot. I know because I used to do it.

got a cleric that i've not bought any gear for. full blown noob play through with no associations to other chars. pretty dang fun too

gotta say never thought i'd like cleric but soloing undead feels like a diff game imo

at least at low levels so far

Loafing around is half the fun for lots of players this server isnt in no real rush and neither should you be if it makes you happy to play that way.

If you do re roll be sure you play the class you have the most fun on otherwise youll lead back to alts and loafing around again...
