Its kinda funny, from a dmg/delay standpoint no weapon even today has passed this on live. Granted higher damage weapons exist now though.

I'd be happy with a Darkmetal Falchion. I had one on Mith Marr when they were still fairly rare and it made me feel so uber. *sigh*

Anyone remember the pre-nerf 2 damage 6 delay paladin 1hs? I think they eventually made it 12 delay, bixie sword?

Who was it you had to kill in Sky to get it? He was a big deal to kill, so perhaps it is in game and you'll have to zerg him to find out.

But no. It is not ACTUALLY a fiery avenger. Inte Akera wields.. INTE'S SWORD OF DEATH! ooOOOoooo

I recall no rent weapons like this being in the game but for what ever reason this particular one doesn't even show up in the Lucy database anymore...

Lucy the Spell Parser didn't even exist (in a private form) until I believe mid-Kunark, let alone Lucy the Item Tracker. The sword was removed long before then, and its Item ID # was probably re-used.

It drops from what is now most likely going to be the most highly contested raid boss in the game, on a 7 day respawn timer. The boss also has a huge loot table, making Golden Efreeti armor even rarer.

gat dang it. Keeping the full leather set it looks like. Hopefully when kunark comes out he will be less contested. Its kind of like buying a previous generation game system... the games only cost like 1 dollar each.

Beside the BP, there are 2 mobs that drop the other armor pieces I think... but let's face it, the BP is the main thing the int casters are going to be going for.

Not sure if the respawn time is 1 week for both of them...
Like Reiker said though, for the rarity and coolness factor alone there will be a ton of people wanting these (ESPECIALLY THE BP) on the rare occasion that it drops.

Yeah, just remembered the Overseer after I posted. Also, the Overseer drops the same loot as Djorn, he should also drop the BP. But who knows how the devs (correctly or incorrectly) implemented it here. They're both total badass rape mobs, though.
Chicanery, killing Djorn spawns Overseer on island 5, so how could their spawn time be different? :)
Djorn is definitely (or should be) a 7 day respawn.

So to sum it all up, you get 2 chances a week for any of these to drop and the loot tables are mad huge!

I think the entire server should chip in and get Nalkin a full set of golden efreeti. Such a flashy individual shouldn't be caught dead wearing last season's garments.

No rent weapons with godly stats were a bad idea in hindsight when you had people deliberately dying and having the no rent item stay on the corpse. I think after the gm even with the soul devourers there were people still using these weeks after the event had ended.

For the cost of one 'planned' death at the end of the day, those weapons could more than easily make up for that. I think I kept a one/two on my Warrior for a couple weeks at least.
Most other no rent stuff wasn't worth it - but those were. Was like a can of instant whoop-ass.
Speaking of which.. anyone remember that? lol
