+100000000. All of this talk about "working" with Nilly killing RD. Who did we lose due to that? Badger who was going to leave anyway? Jibeknn who was going to leave anyway? So you mean to tell me those two people are what did us in? We were raiding 40+ deep with EXP bonus consistently. EXP left and it was cut in half. There were no more newbs to recruit either. Once it became clear that the GM's stopped caring / had no power without Rogean to fix red, I decided it better to let people choose between AZ or Nilly then force many loyal people to stick it out in RD where I didn't see a lot of hope long term.

Yep. We needed about 55 active players for Velious. With the EXP we were on pace to do that. Once it got removed the dream was over. But it's ok as the GM's told us, they don't give a fuck that people quit and it has to get worse before it can get better. This is all part of the plan that is coming soon.

that's not true, we down kunark stuff as low as 18 people, but on avg we have 25-30 with a peak of 36 active mains on at once ive seen. not to mention when velious hits people will have actual incentive to log in thus gaining up to 40-45 i speculate.

Yes I'm aware, they avg 300k hp roughly 10X the hp. Rampage isnt AE only hits 1 or 2 targets depending on the mob. It's going to be tough but I think in time we will triumph, azrael has a better shot than any other guild on the server.

Attrition rate of new players went up exponentially when XP bonus went away. Doing the math, we wouldn't have the numbers to do much in velious. Hard to keep a third guild thriving when the pop is so low and only getting lower.

Yeah most people on this server dont remember what velious mobs were like. Even with LoZ nerfing content and faction, doing something like dozekar took a pretty geared crew. Some people think dozekar will be doable straight out of kunark, I'm not seeing it. I remember getting shat on with my 6300hp/1300ac warrior a few times because of random chain flurries/ripostes while he was slowed.

You obviously didn't realize when you ported up that the mobs just got there and all our healers had agro. I was kiting 3 azaracks myself and had to jump or die because I didn't have any buffs =(. Its a no brainer that you guys had the tactical advantage. Clearing agro, healing up and porting back up.

Whoever was running the show in nihilum made poor calls, thats why you lost. With that number advantage you could have very easily just jumped right off forcing us to either die in sky to the mobs or jump off after you. We would have had to fight 8v20ish in freeport. Instead, you continued to kite the mobs with no hope of ever recovering while we sniped kills as we pleased and forced a guild LNS with a third the people (all of which were fully dispelled upon porting up). Nihilum needs a leader in a bad way.
