Damn, I can't believe people would pay that much for something you could probably build yourself for retarded cheap.

Edit: That thing doesn't look too sturdy; I could totally see that thing getting broken or tipping over or something the second someone rages out in it.

I don't see the point of something like that if it doesn't have a steering wheel, the keyboard tray doesn't even look sturdy enough to handle the force feedback from a G27

If a simple desk kills your immersion, you're probably doing it wrongly.

These are a total rip off lol. Just look at their catalog -- the MSRP for the "Emperor 2000" is $49,150. Just to get a "paper side table" added onto it is $1350. Funny, because for the $21,500 Emperor LX version, that same "paper side table" only costs $255 to add on.

Fuck that you guys are a tough crowd I want one... Though the second model that costs x4 doesn't seem like that much of an upgrade... Though I guess I don't personally feel a need for five monitors.

The fuck is "quasi total immersion"? Is that like "just the tip"? Because if it is I hope the entire company is invaded by Russia tomorrow.

I pre-ordered my Oculus Rift SDK2 once I got my tax return, and I'm going to write SwishQuest: An app you can play while pooping.

Yeah, with enough small tables and duct tape you could rig the same thing up for under 100 bucks. Looking pretty is another matter altogether. But when you are gaming, who looks at anything but the monitors? Only reason a gaming rig needs to look stylish/sleek like this is to appease the wife/gf. If they aren't already up to speed with your gaming, at this point, you got bigger problems than your rig.

The right chair is the key, imo.
