New to red, Begging for a weapon

Having a fairly hard time as a level 8 wizard on Red, haven't seen any other players except one friendly druid whose thorns got me nearly 50% of a level (thanks Iucky).

Was wondering if anyone out there could spare a 1hb/2hb or piercing weapon, somewhere along the lines of a Staff of Writhing or treant staff, since my Giant Snake Fang is getting a little long in the tooth ;0

I know this isn't blue and I don't expect handouts, but given the lack of the 2x exp many enjoyed beforehand, I hope it doesn't come across as too desperate to ask for a slight bit of assistance.

Well my take on it is that I like to be on a PvP server even though I rarely, if ever, kill people.

In fact I'm nearly as anti-pk as they come, but that is what I love about PvP. I hate Pkers and love to hate them, to try and maybe fail to kill them. Maybe I'm a willing victim perhaps but non-pvp is just not as exciting.

Really I prefer teams because you have a real reason to attack the enemy and it establishes a sense of camaraderie with fellow evils/goods etc but that will be a while in coming it seems so I'll have my single char here until that time comes!
