Have global OOC display your location.


this gem deserves an own thread. best idea ive seen the past months and clearly needed now since they want to shut down /ooc completely!

i mean, this is a win win situation for everyone

.) less CSR involvement since players will think twice before /oocing something stupid
.) this is a pvp server so more pvp with this feature, rite?
.) we can still keep auctioning stuff serverwide and players can keep using /ooc for lfg

this is a nobrainer, please code it!

me rikey, but it requires more coding and I'm sure that whatever they have already isn't in the same vein as this idea.

since they said already that it wont stay the same/take it out completely, i left it out.

I think this is an awesome idea, independent of this being some sort of "solution" to whatever "problem" ooc has been considered to be in the past. I think it would accomplish a number of beneficial things, including:

1) Increasing the amount of world pvp
2) Decreasing the amount of BS/taunting without recourse in ooc

not even voting. it needs serverwide auction and auctions in ooc = suspension
