Just started playing with a buddy. We made a druid / warrior combo. Is this a viable combo or should we reroll?

could work well if done right, with some gear and a staff of battle let the war live in zerk mode hell be all the dps you need, just heal him enough to keep him from dieing but staying in zerker. It could work for a while.

Shaman Warrior would be a lot better imo. Haste + Slow is pretty huge. You wouldn't really be able to make use of Druids ability to snare and quad.

Shaman and Monk is the best option

Just started playing here on P99 with a buddy of mine and we made a SHM/WAR duo. Been working out real nicely. Granted we're only level 9 and gearless, but it's been steady thus far.

Warriors are so hard for druids to heal. I don't know if I can recommend it. Warrior + Cleric is an instant group though.

shaman is definitely better for the duo and cleric if you like making groups.

druids don't really duo well with anything maybe a bard or wizard but theyd just rather solol

Druid+Enchanter all day everyday (outdoors).

Druid + Enchanter is a solid duo. I agree.

druid/necro ftw, one of my fav classic combos; but pets are pretty garbo here, almost on par with live

Depends on who is more mutable, the druid or the warrior. druid/enc, druid/wizard, warrior/cleric, warrior/sham

id prefer a shaman / ench to a druid / ench. Sure the druid can snare the pet but so what? that charms going to last MUCH longer when debuffed by a shaman.

The druid/enc duo is about fear kiting.

Can fear kite with a shaman as well if you pick the right race on the sham :) Dont really need to fear kite with sham / ench though, you just wreck everything.

Druid lacks the healing of a cleric to keep up with a warrior's HP, but SoW, ports, and DS would balance that, I think. Not a bad duo by any means.

Druid/warrior is extremely viable for agro kiting (make sure warrior is Zerked for maximum results).

Druid/enchanter is an incredibly powerful outdoor combo because of snare and heals. The argument can be made for shaman but that would better suit indoor dungeons. Heals cost tons of mana outside of CH and Torpor - anytime you can take advantage of levelling without taking damage you'll level the fastest.

Honestly, play whichever you enjoy with your friend.

For longevity I'd recommend Warrior/Cleric for shear access to high end groupage instantly when in the 40s+
