View Full Version : Game Mechanics: faction not affected by illusions

not sure if this is related to the patch/reset earlier yesterday but upon using wolf form in highpass the npc's are conning as if no illusion was applied which is KOS to my qeynos human necro friend and amiably to my halfling druid. i was under the impression the wolf form illusion should reset the factions to indifferent while the illusion is present.

Illusion is a faction boost.
if your necro friend deeply trashed his faction wolf form might not be able to boost it back to indiff

Some NPCs/factions like wolves, some hate them. Its not a one size fits all type deal.

im mainly posting because i seen share wolf form work in highpass for orc scalp turn ins on an iksar 2 days ago that was kos without it but able to turn in with it and then yesterday share wolf form wasnt working for a human who was kos without it and kos with it.

maybe it never worked for humans from qeynos but i thought this might of been related

Game servers won't be back for another hour or two. A bunch of settings got reset on one of the servers that I need to redo.

probably just a minor bug if it is even a bug but not sure if this is working as intended so i posted it

i thought this might be the case but its a brand new necro and it just threw me off that it would work for an iksar sk (although i cant confirm if he had previous worked on faction) but i know it worked for a brand new ogre sk as well which i can see being hated less.. anyway just thought i'd mention it appreciate the feedback guys and apologies if it everything is working as intended
