Level 36 Ranger LFG

I play between 7:30pm-11pm EDT, willing to travel. I haven't been able to get a group in the last few days... maybe I'm just searching for XP in all the wrong places! Or it's probably the ranger thing.... BUT I IMPLORE YOU TO OVERLOOK THAT SMALL DETAIL!

I will bring to your group:
1) Pulling (in outdoor zones)
2) DPS (if I divide my damage by a time horizon of zero, I do infinite DPS!)
3) Rootparking for crowd control (unless some damn fool pulls all casters, or Abacab shows up)
4) Witty banter (unless you're a bunch of humorless bastards)
5) Utility buffs (when's the last time you've had Feet Like Cat?!)
6) I can snare shit so you don't train half the zone onto yourselves (unless it gets resisted, then we're fucked)
7) Endless opportunities to make fun of rangers (while I'm on CR)
8) Snap aggro off casters (if your yakless warrior can't hold the mob's interest)
9) Can tank (if all your warriors, paladins, shadowknights, bards, monks, mage pets, and necro pets die)

I was gonna, but then I read http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14187 and I just didn't wanna deal with any drama goin down in Paw after all that travelling. I figure if I stay around EC, I can get to LGuk, SolB, Kithicor, and CT fairly quickly if I get a /tell.

Fuck the drama, Paw is a huge ass zone if you have never explored the depths. Really, you could spend days down there. Build a group, invis up and pick a spot. One group of people getting power leveled will not take up the whole zone. The second half of the Gnoll Slayer quest is in there as well if you ever looked into that.

I love having rangers in my group for DPS, especially in groups where the rogue (me) is MT and a wizard is pulling i.e. this morning in highkeep.

Spotted you in MM soloing the GY. Between you, and a mage soloing the pond it left nothing for lower level groups there.

I gave GY up to a full group when I left, they helped me knock out the last blue bubble of 38 :)

Before I signed up for the forum, I looked at the Xegony player list. You were one of two names I recognized. (Stepy being the other)... You were old-school, like me.

I never knew you well, but I remember you being funny, and I remember your name being one of the funniest I had ever seen.

When did you play and in what guild?

I was in the 2nd or 3rd oldest guild on the Server (Defenders of Kah-Li). I eventually joined up with Amazon for a while and Defenders of Kah-Li disbanded.

When I came back to the game I was guilded by Fellowship of Faith, but I never really raided with them. I spent most of my time in Nurga, and then in CoD headshotting stuff :)

Thats too bad, but not surprising since the final sword is somewhat OP for old school. What part doesn't work, the hand in or? I don't remember the quest well, but I looted the eye off the one-eyed gnoll a while back which I'm pretty sure is for the second part of the quest so I thought maybe it was in.

Okay, Level 40 ranger LFG now!! All my friends keep outlevelling me! Anyone in Sol B, L Guk, or Mistmoore (castle entrance or deeper) need some DPS/rootparking/tracking/foraging??

My current plan is to continue sitting around buffing newbies in CB and EC all the time in the hopes that one day they will reach level 35-40 and remember me when I'm LFG.
