It appears that this spell is only lasting roughly 6mins. This is not consistent with spell data from Lucy http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=661 which shows 12.7 mins @L39 to 15.0 mins @L47. The date of that data is 2005 with the earliest spell info being 2002. But if you look at other pet haste spells such as
Intensify Death http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=449 it shows a spell duration of 3.4 mins @L24 to 7.0 mins @L60 which is consistent with p99 and no change until 11/20/2007 when haste spell durations are updated.
Also the higher level spell Augmentation of Death http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=1414 doesn't show a change from 17.5 mins until 11/20/2007
So I believe it is safe to assume that if the lower version and the higher version do not show a changes until 11/20/2007 then the middle version that 2005 data shows has a duration of 12.7 mins should probably last that long instead of the current 6 mins.

Casting every 6mins sucks...especially since there is no notice when the spell falls off. Would be nice to get this update along with the mage pet buff.

Still haven't noticed a change with this spell - dps falls off at around 6 mins.
I've noticed the same issue. I almost never use this spell because it seems like a waste of mana with only a 6 min duration.

Also when this gets fixed, a good way to tell when Augment wears off is that Jboots lasts 18 minutes, so refresh jboots when you buff your pet, then look at your JBoots timer. When it is down to 3 minutes recast augment.
Repeat.

EQNecro's spell guide has captures dating back to 2000 but when you click on them they send you to a post from 2001. It says 15 minutes, as well.
Was there ever a patch message about buffing/nerfing the duration?

I looked around and couldn't find anything about a duration change to necromancer pet haste but there was a change to mage pet haste which sounds like it was a bug in the first place. But does it make any sense for the higher level pet haste to last as long as the lower level pet haste? Pretty sure most if not all buffs scale by spell level (and some character level) so it's not a leap of faith to increase the necro pet haste by what is stated in lucy spell info.

Nope, like all broken Necromancer spell issues it has been ignored.

Quite annoying. Hard to see if your pet is still doing good damage now too since u practicaly need to be on top of them to see the damage messages.

Yeah I basically recast Augment every 3rd pull, it's frustrating because it takes forever to refresh.

Unless anyone can find a solid date when this spell was altered before Velious, it most likely will not be changed.

Probably not because we have people before Velious saying it's 15 minutes.

This is the correct formula.

No, it is not correct. The spell does not have the same duration as the lower level version. I already posted on the first page what it should be as there was not a change in length of pet haste spells until later on when they were all changed to 1 hour. The information on Lucy spell data is what it should be until all the spells were changed to 1 hour. You would be hard pressed to find buff spells in EQ that do not scale up by level which would be consistent with Lucy's data.

The spdat on the Velious CD would have been serveral months old by the time Velious came out. It probably should be changed. Especially considering that comment that it was 15 minutes or so in oct 2000. It's possible it's been 15 minutes since Kunark went live. The Kunark cd spdat was highly inaccurate.
