EDIT: Okay, I got a chance to test this.

Turns out the Wiki is just wrong and has the version of the quest given post SS revamp.

The quest seems to work fine while KoS on beta, which seems wrong.

Other KoS mobs in the area are also responding to hail with text about me being their ally.






OP: The npc responds to hail and some of the quest text even when kos. Some quest text he does not seem to respond to. He would give me the message, though I want to say he have it to me for the wrong text. Sorry for the bad bug report, I'm on the road and behind a firewall, so it's harder to look things up. I found this in the morning before I left And wanted to mention it. Maybe someone with faction can also test it. I'll test the rest of the quest when I get back if no one else does.

Also should be noted that the key should transport the whole group to CS upon click.

Shouldn't be able to complete turn ins < dubious.

On beta:
-summoned ziglark
-handed him the message to herald
-He ate it.

How were you able to complete it at kos?

sorry, didn't complete the quest yet, just did the first part where he hands me the message for the mob in kael. seemed to me he shouldn't even respond to hail, but not much info out there on it i guess

I have a pending source request for any npc < dubious should give you a 'gtfo' response or nothing at all in EVENT_SAY. In lieu of adding specific faction ifs for every npc, I think that is the best way to proceed.
