California Governor Brown:

"Well, we have medical marijuana, which gets very close to what they have in Colorado and Washington. I'd really like those two states to show us how it's going to work.

The problem with anything, a certain amount is okay.

But there is a tendency to go to extremes.

And all of a sudden, if there's advertising and legitimacy, how many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation?

The world's pretty dangerous, very competitive.

I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to put together."

-------------

So he's a coward, and citizens exist to compete in the world?

cannabis as a plant contains complete amino acid nutrition and omega 3's

why is recognizing the legitimacy of a thing a bad thing in this mans mind?

a lot of great minds and productive people use cannabis. this man is an asshole.

one cannot merely use science in politics

coming generations will, and it's changing the game. the western model of competition and strength is failing, so ww3 will be around soon.

He was nicknamed Governor Moonbeam, and has gladly used it to reference himself in the past.

Do we really want too understand this man?

California will follow suit with in the next decade, it always has. If you truly cannot wait, clip the local coupon from the local paper and get your medical card on the cheap.(Yes, the local Sacramento paper has printed coupons for discounted medical cards =//)

hehe fo real tho there is serious benefits to industrial hemp (less resource intensive crop, complete amino acid nutrition and omega 3) let alone medical applications of cannabinoids (neuroprotectant, antiinflammatory, pain relief, recreation, nontoxic alternative to pill addict crisis).. cmon peeps

It will happen sooner or later, but his current stance outside of what you posted has good merit for being followed. Wa state is shooting themselves in the foot implementing this, if a state could roll out legalized marijuana while maintaining a profitable venture and controlled access. It would go a long way to getting other states on board.

None of these things are happening currently. If I had to guess. Any state who is on the edge of wanting legalized marijuana will wait until it is rolled out fully and the kinks are well worked out. And that promptly copy their method for easy tax revenue.

I would wager, the only reason you want California to legalize marijuana is for for easy access of northern California Eureka marijuana, which as I am told is quite
"dank".

But alas! Those rednecks in Oregon will never let it cross their borders.

funny thing (well i dunno ironic more) is that i dont smoke weed anymore, i broke my receptors using the synthetics and now i just dont really care about it like i used to

you are correct though but really, it grows indoors so if i want a plant strain ill grow it myself heh heh... sun is free though so yea, CA has that going for it... LED lights in the correct wavelength are my secret weapon know what i mean?

I don't think the vendors will have problems finding an avenue for their currency. But I do think the local municipalities may have problems maintaining credit and garnishing credit rates from funds that the Federal Government can stop if even a moderate Republican gets elected in 2016.

atm it's likely an experiment to see which type of system works best for full legalization. we're going to run into trouble with the un but we'll give 'em the finger like always and say "who funds you again?" it's going to be a major cash crop and not just for the recreational purposes. be awesome if we get a surge in US manufacturing due to the amount of hemp that can be grown here because it can create a lot of jobs for people which should be a selling point to politicians.

I think your thoughts are evident in the completed roll out in WA not finishing until after the 2016 elections I believe.

This could very easily all vanish back to a lucid dream in four years.

lucid dream isn't likely, but the wave of upcoming voters have done a nice job of voicing what they think is right for the country. legalized marijuana is one of those notions and is likely the most beneficial to everyone in the long run. we're going to get some line-in-the-sand rhetoric in the next few months and it's not going to stop until 2016 unfortunately.

there will also, likely, be an debate over what rights (if any) an employer has over an employee's life or lifestyle. basically if someone can do the job and do it well enough to satisfy the employer then what ground does the employer have on dictating personal lifestyle choices of the employee. this is going to come up with legalizing marijuana.

Sadly I think our nation has done a great job of showing us, that we will not have that debate until after someones life is ruined.

It will undoubtedly end up in the US supreme court I am confidant, but only after the perfect test subject is found. I am thinking of the Edith Wilson here and DOMA.

She and her dead partner were hardly the first to have this issue I am sure. She was however as I remember very cordial and amiable on television .

Of course I am not attempting to compare Homosexual rights to legalizing marijuana. Just using the recent DOMA ruling as a point to illustrate that we rarely have proper foresight to these problems.

Even if it takes twenty years, we do get it right sooner or later.

"The first controlled LSD study in more than 40 years reveals the drug could be used to help people with terminal illnesses deal better with death. its like being teased by a bully while the teacher watches and nods ... these people saying these horrible things about cannabis and its users are dead wrong, but the people who know the truth can't stop them.

its enough to make people sink to their level and just slap the shit out of th em "because I say so" .. which is their current argument, and i dont accept that... i have a degree in biological science and i know what is being said about cannabis is a lie... they didnt expect anyone to know the truth who isnt blinded by profits or shackled by debt and obligations.

here i am. i am the living man. and i know the truth. i will fight for my life!!

got that effect and new notions of spirituality. it works best when in a public setting at a low dose.
