could i please get some help getting the game running.

this is my second thread I have done what derubael reposted about how to down load and what to do I followed the directions to the letter and I when I click launch the screen go black I get a gold cursor and that's it , it stays just like that please help. I have logmein if some one is willing to take over my comp and see what im doing wrong I really want to play =) .

you install from Titanium Edition of EQ ...

you modify the eqhost.txt to point to the eqemu login servers ...

you make a shortcut to eqgame.exe NOT everquest.exe .. type "patchme" without the QUOTES in your shortcut to eqgame.exe on desktop (right click, properties)

Download the patch files .zip from project1999 manually install them into directory. http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files32.zip

TO SET UP A LOGIN SERVER ACCOUNT
you must also create a loginserver account on the EQemulator forums. http;//www.eqemulator.org

In all, you will have EQemu forum login, login server, and p99 forums account.

Ok im going crazy here i spent all day trying to figure this out i read every form did everything and im still getting the same thing i click play and get a black screen with a gold cursor could some one please help me....

the one thing i can not get to work is the patchme at the end of my eqgame.file
every time i put patchme at the end it gives me an can not find file path ??

when you are on the black screen with gold cursor press alt+enter to go into windowed mode. you can change scren resolution once in game.

not everyone on this server is a hacker piece of shit. but distinguishing one from the other would be difficult.

This is where I'm stuck. It's been 8-9 hours and I haven't received the confirmation e-mail so that I can actually visit the link named "Loginserver accounts" under the navigation tab on the emu forums. Other people have said they can't log into their eqemu forum account and I've tried using multiple e-mail addresses and have checked spam, etc...but still no confirmation e-mail. Usually they're instant, am I wrong?

Just wondering if this is still currently the correct way to create a login server because I'm itching to play. Like I have my crack. Have my pipe. But I have no fucking lighter. :(
