Well i can honestly say that I was wrong about the exp. nerf. I thought more people would quit playing than this. I figured we would be sub. during peak play times by now.

At 27 (wizard) I'm getting 3-5% exp per kill on dark blues in high keep. I'm sure it's way worse 50+ but for us newbs who just started the exp is still pretty good.

Step outside highkeep and you will get only 1%

I seriously doubt exp bonus being removed has anything to do with population numbers.

eqpvp on live always had abysmal populations! most likely because EQ was not developed to be a pvp game despite what most diehard red players will say.

Couple that with the fact that red99s community is worse than world of warcraft anf you get what red99 is today.

I think unless a person is a diehard eq pvp player, they would likely skip right over red99 everytime..even if it was 1000X exp bonus.


That being said, transfer my blue characters over with all of their NO DROP gear and I would come play around from time to time...maybe even daily.

There's no doubt about it, "wife aggro" has been cited far more since the recent XP changes with people suddenly leaving groups, it seems as though taking the XP bonus out really pissed off people who don't even play the game.
