Stating the obvious for those who still hold on to the pipe dreams of a purple server. Teams is the blue solution to the population problems on the pvp server. Unfortunately the truest red server (which we have, ffa) will have an influx of rules consistent with the playerbase. These rules may alienate veterans in order to keep a continuous stream of new blood that keeps a server healthy, but despite this, the server will continue to grow and degenerate due to the interest of current competition, plagued by the most vocal player's expectations. 1 guild and a resistance to fight an established order is good, 2 guilds with an alliance against the rebels trying to prove their place is even more acceptable for it provides for more people to log on. A wipe would be even more preferable for a new life is required for the server and despite past conflicts it will make them reconvene to their current interests. TLDR; the server is going fine, people will always cry.

I think I will take it easy on teams and go shaman. No research, potions are nice, can solo, can group, easy class. Will probably play it while leveling my red99 toon so being able to afk will be good. Shaman.. gotta go ogre. If they make it so ogres don't have bards on their teams I will pick a different class.

If item loot needs a tight level limit, if not item loot kinda doesnt matter that much +/-6

i assure you the staff has been silently reading these threads, as we discussed a few of the better ones in our recent Teams staff meeting. and as a matter of fact, it was indeed a players thread from the PvP section that we used as the basis of deciding the teams (pending approval from Rogean and Nilbog of course).

Unless they did something like combine good/neut into one team, I bet the teams are pretty close to SZ rules. None of the other suggestions made as much sense.

Acquiring pixels and in game politics? No.

Mechanics and bugs? Yes.

I would say I am currently in the yellow on the immersion scale because things are looking real sharp on the PvE end (I've thrown in the towel for now on PvP mechanics). If we get to the point dispel mechanics can be addressed, shit will go into the red zone real quick like.

That said, and as noted above, full code black immersion will go down if we get to a point where we can really hammer out pvp resists and implement item loot.
