Went to this for my 21st and it was absolutely sick. Love most of the bands that played and the crowd was pretty good for the entire time. Long ass concert, 6+ hours and I'm sore as fuck two days after lol. If it's coming to your town and isn't sold out, I'd recommend you at least look into it!

I try not to tease myself with Euro festival line ups since they're almost always overwhelmingly better than our American equivalents.

I just wish our metal tours were more epic, I live in Michigan and they do Warped and Mayhem here in absolutely shitty places imo. Mayhem is at least acceptable but they do Warped at the Palace of Auburn Hills on black top...in the middle of July. Pit heats were recorded at 110+ last year. People passing the fuck out.

damn. it gets pretty bad here in houston in the summer too. only metal festivals i've been to have been local bands mainly. friends of mine were playing in them which got me in free, but they were inside mostly. obituary headlined one of them, but a 20min kick-drum check made me check out before they even started. the obese hookers they had with them had me laughing too much backstage.
