Was thinking of starting a list of merchants that commonly sell research items.

I typically hit up,

druid rings
Shady
Bubar
ping
oasis gypsies
Dwarf in the center of Dagnors

Common merchants are probably also least likely to have spells as their inventory is quickly filled with crap. The buy back of say, the Druid merchant in wc would be insane.

I personally vend all my stuff to the closest merchant that isn't greedy.

I also cast charisma on myself because I'm cheap.

Quite a few research threads in EC now actually too, a lot more than there used to be.

You'd be surprised how much research stuff accumulates on random Kelethin vendors.

Highkeep is THE place for a lot of stuff though - mobs of all levels in there so a good range of words/runes/etc.
