The original quartet was Joroz, Hakata, Skullmonkey, and Sakuragi (in that order I believe). Like a year later we also have Cucumbers, Domjot (alt of Redgar?), Erratic (Phenom sold his account and rerolled iksar), and Provenx. Pretty sure Cucumbers is the only one out of those without the epic; apparently people who roll iksar warriors are pretty serious about them.

Also there is one in Doljo* who I mainly know about because he posts on RNF a lot, and Tizzle's warrior is an iksar.

Velious makes them great tanks because they get an avoidance bonus due to the iksar AC bonus and velious gear lets them hit the AC cap.

Troll regen well worth having late game...you're not a warrior, and if people can't cast a spell after watching something bash them they probably need to roll an "easier" class ;)

Lodi doesn't have close to the max hit to take out a shaman in 2 rounds. It's not going to be a deciding factor.

If the ac bonus is actually applying an iksar shaman can take out harder mobs than an ogre in velious.

IIRC Lodizal hits twice as hard as crypt Hierophant and is 5 levels higher. Lodizal probably has twice or three times as much hp also.

I've seen shamans die to Hiero solo.

Lodizal being fully slowable makes him a joke. But god damn is he going to be perma camped by the regular suspects that keep down Drusella and others of that nature.

I remeber on live, back in the days, I had a 54+ iksar SK (Velious). He was good, but he could not compare to Ogre/Troll who had far superior HP.

Getting one to 60 though, that takes dedication.

I remember leveling an Iksar SK back on live in this era. It was torturous. Got him to 51 before I caved and rerolled.

It definitely is quite an accomplishment.
