Have been playing on Blue 1999 for a long time, all of a sudden I now get error 1017 when trying to connect to any server. Have tried reinstalling, disabling my firewall in windows and on the router, giving full permissions to my user (which is already an admin) and the program, port forwarding, updated drivers, rebooting, trying to reconnect to other servers, redownloading the P99 files. Nothing seems to work. I know the titanium installer that I use is good, I have used it before and it is the same installer that most people use to play P99. I'm at my wit's end here.

I've gotten 1017 Errors every single day that I've played P99, and every time, the culprit was a poor connection to the server.

It wasn't my internet, I have 150 Mbit internet. It cost's $120 a month. My internet rapes.

This doesn't make much sense to me but I have solved the issue.
My motherboard's BLCK speed (FSB) was overclocked to 205 MHZ. I reduced to speed to the standard clock rate (200MHz) and the game connects now. When I change the clock rate back up, it fails to connect. I'm not sure why this would affect anyone's ability to connect to EQ, but there you go. That's the solution.

Would also like to note that I also have my core multiplier, ram rates, and gpu overclocked as well.

The only thing that causes this in my system is the BLCK/FSB overclocked to any degree.
