Whenever the mobs are light blue or very low dark blue, if you want charm to actually stick.

At lvl 44, I started doing sage, cav, exe, savant with ease. Before that it was a bit dangerous with the resists and the wizards nuking me down. You will get alot of resists on your undead calm spell before lvl 44 which makes it hard to break camps of 4+.

I did this on my necro the first level I got rtd... 36? resists must have changed a bit since '09. Just need to break the room by suiciding the pets one at a time till you can root/rot them down after you get room broken. Charm wouldn't ever last long enough to do it a normal way.

Something to remember about rtd: it's not a line of sight spell. You can be at max cast distance every time you cast. Which gives you corners to hide behind to cast fd if rtd fails.

I gave it a shot last night, didn't get the drop I was looking for and evenutally I left with my tail between the legs after being close to dying a few times. Are there any safe spots to med and afk abit?

The hallway before the 3-way to Lord/AM and Frenzy is safe.

you can med behind one or two of the pillars in the exe/sage area iirc.
