If there's any truth to the axiom "actions speak louder than words," then every action made by Nihilum members after Red Dawn killed Xygoz suggests that you not only care an insane amount about pixels (hence fielding 30+ at any time to cockblock), but that you'll do anything in your power to keep them yours regardless of necessity.

It's not that Red Dawn forced your hand or that it's somehow Red Dawn's leadership's fault for bringing "it" on themselves. We had the gumption to take something we wanted, you pals took offense to the ballsy-ness, and now you're tightening back up, recruiting more (especially by poaching RD members), keeping a stranglehold.

Don't fool yourself into thinking it's particular to Red Dawn and these circumstances. You'd do the same if it were any other guild, even one that you liked.

I can't blame RD folks for jumping shit. EQ is a time-sink, and logging in once a week to deck out all of your characters sounds pretty great. The allure is huge.

The core of it is that the people who do jump shit are either patently blue-minded players (this is generally the case) or just dislike the other guild (of which there are only two). They don't log in for PvP on a daily basis. It's not even an interest. This server is like that game 'Animal Farm,' where you just collect gear and build up to prepare for maybe PvP happening in the future, instead of actually going out and seeking it. Noah, for instance, is just a greedy pal looking to build up. He's not particularly talented at PvP, and he has no interest in it. Overall, Nihilum PvP's only when it's toward a guided purpose, not just 'cause. That's Nizzar. It's calculated and boring.

But it works.
