Ive never PVPed in EQ so i kind of want to get a feel for it. Was wondering what a good class to play is and if i can play 1 character on blue and play one character on red at the same time if that is legal or not.

It's legal to do that. What do you want to do? solo or group?

can play both, thats totally cool
if you're gonna afk on one and pay attention to the other tho, i recommend afk on blue and pay attention to red!
play whatever you want, basically any class can thrive :D (sk thrives the best tho)

well i have a cleric enc shaman wiz on p99. maybe something that can hold his own. something that doesnt get booty stomped in pvp. :P Yet i do i want to solo because i am playing with IRL friends on p99 blue. im guessing i wont be liked here because im a "bluebie" :P but im up for a challenge.

wizard is a good choice because it will still be viable at 60 yet is a solid pvp class all the way up even without gear

lose coins you were carrying
no item loot
no exp loss on pvp death
no exp gain on pvp kill

its pretty painless, just have fun

The classes you listed are probably some of the better ones that are viable in end game PvE and PvP. If you want a change of pace and to try something new Bards are good. Any PvP group would love to have you, you should be able to get away most of the time, leveling will be easy and you aren't real gear dependent.

Necro is a decent choice if you want to be tough to kill but don't mind not getting many kill shots. They are useful in PvE. If you want a pet class I advise necro over mage because of PvP resists.

if you want to solo and not get dunked on in 1v1 pvp I would have to recommend mage/wizard/druid.

Leveling here is super fast, if you don't like these classes at least you can use them to farm for something else.
