My dream of seeing that staff will probably never happen on this server, but what class you would put the staff on?

I have a shaman, necro, rogue, and a baby SK. I figure the shaman can cast the spell so no. The necro is just a farmer so no, but would be pretty powerful. The rogue still couldn't solo with it, so no. I guess I would go with my SK.

What would you do?

I like mine best on my enchanter.

A class that has no way of healing themselves, Enc, Mage, Wiz

An enchanter sounds pretty amazing with the staff.

So this is a tough call because I would also pick my enchanter - BUT the "name" i put on the kickstarter could also win a guise. Guise on my DE ench would be.... fail, but the fungus staff would be $_$

Well, my choice is monk or druid... I'm going druid, yo. That's one more money making port I can keep perma on my spell bar.

And when I say I'm going druid, I mean I'm not pissing away any more money on vaporware so that Mr. Vanguard can buy oxy.

monk with tunic and staff seems OP.

shaman or enchanter seem like good choices :)

shaman can already use the post nerf one.

Necro with regen ? just OP, basically better than shaman with canni.

Necro or enchanter. If I won a guise though, I'd throw that on my lvl 20 enchanter to save a spell casting slot.

1. Necromancer
2. Wizard
3. Enchanter

Particularly in that order.

Isn't the appeal of the staff for twinking alts

Loses flavor if no drop sorry.

An Iksar Necromancer

18 Sitting Regen + 15 Fungi Clicky = 33 Regen

This allows you to sit with Demi-Lich and not lose health at all.

Everything else is the wrong answer.

Sure, twinking is always an appeal.

But you're also talking about a staff that lets an iksar necro regen 1hp/tick sitting while gaining 32 extra mana a tick because of Demi Lich. It also allows an enchanter to heal to full 3x faster while soloing if they take some hits during a charm break.

It's a pretty big deal.

meh, VP staff helps the necros quite a bit, plus you'll maybe have the Zlandi heart one day. I would think Monk / enchanter would be nice.

Necromancer can get his health back easy. The only weakness of the enchanter is that it can't heal. The choice is clear

Negro with VP staff and eyes > that staff regen.

It's not a bad choice, but it's not really that useful if you are rock and rolling on your negro.

Enchanter or Wizard wouldn't be bad, great way to rebuild hp if they are using manarobe/stone.

Ahh right. Makes getting one of these: http://wiki.project1999.com/Holgresh_Elder_Beads all the more imperative once Velious drops. Thank God they'll be around for at least 6 months and everyone should get a chance to farm at least one and not just the uber-campers.

Donal's BP existed for 3 years.

If Holgresh Elder Beads are only 6 months I will be sad.

Isn't that staff clickable on others?

Mage would benefit pretty damn well with it if so, with it both on themself and the pet. Necro with that and zland heart is kinda retard strong. Enchanter would get good usage out of it but not anything really groundbreaking beyond healing faster solo.

Paired with a fungi it'd allow a rogue to solo effectively into the mid 50s, monk even higher. Put poisons into the equation and the rogue might be able to match the monk on single-target scenarios, though this is rarely if ever used.

It'd be (relatively) short lived on a wizard for the manastone/robe play, as munching on epic rune is better.

Hybrids would get usage out of it, SK being the most, but not as much as a warrior for obvious reasons.

The Post nerf is self clicky online. I have one on my Iksar shaman. It's pretty awesome. Especially since it stacks with the tunic.

I dont think it would be a good idea for a necro since it snares you. You can't aggro kite.
Enchanter or some uber melee tank class with a tunic + staff would be best.

Not only do you benefit from self regen, but on an enchanter couldn't you cast it on your pet to make charm breaks way less annoying?

gortimer

Self target only.

I do not recall if the click is usable from lvl 1, but i would assume it is lvl 35 click.

Its useful on a shaman purely for the convenience of not switching to a 2 handed weapon, or spending 350 mana to cast Regrowth.
Being that, i only use regro on my shaman when I feel like uber preparing for a long solo fight.

I believe it to be *most* useful for a solo enchanter to maintain a charm and return to full health after breaks and save the use of rejuve pots.

I would believe it to be most convenient on an iksar necro... because who doesnt like to afk for 5 minutes and leave lich up?~

Any person would benefit from it though. Especially people who find themselves waiting on health to regenerate.

That being said, Shamans should be entered into the raffle without paying for that bullshit game =p
