I like classic eq, and i love pvp, but this shit isn't even fun. with 30+ zones and 60 ppl avg that's 2 ppl a zone avg, it's a joke. this server has turned into shit and only a select group of elite nerds run it. It's like thunderdome w/ nerds running the show instead of elite criminals.

Devs should just wipe the server, or get rid of it. It's a disgrace.

If we had repops or variance the population would double in days. Most people quit the server when they realize they can only get pixels by waking up at 5am every week

I agree with the wipe remarks, everyone knows eq pvp servers need to be refreshed. Unfortunately the staff stated long ago they'd never wipe. Not sure why? Only bluebies care about their saved pixels.

Origins? Crashes every 15-20 mins and you heard it here, will be wiped once new hardware is in(confirmed)and bugs are taken care of. Truth is like every emu, it will be hot for a couple months and then die. Eso gona be that deathblow. So enjoy your game and stay the fuck off our forums. i would come back to play for a fresh start for sure. Starting on a 2 year old server where 50% of the people on have items that no longer drop are kinda silly. I don't think items should stop dropping on the pvp server - its not a normal EQ server.

these items/#ofplayers on this server compared to live is a JOKE. all you did was reward someone who played when it first started... a lot of help to the population they were/are.

wipe it.. piss of 60 people and bring it 300.. I bet a lot of the people who are tired/retired of the blue will start on a brand new server in a heartbeat.

Been here since Aug 2012, it has been this way since I joined. At one point population peaked to 250 or so prime-time, that spike was followed by a downward trend lowering the population back to its median around 150-200.

Let us not forget that probably 20 or so of that number(at least) are just logged in to the character select screen warming up hotpockets or checking on their disability/unemployment claims.

Now I just sort of check the forums now and again, I don't know why.

I have life goals to complete, don't really have a lot of ability to justify a long grind on a server were I can't even corner the pixel market really, no manastones, or dark elf masks.

Just not worth the price of my soul to compete at heartbrands level. God for bid if I had a family to take care of,... things would be even worse, I might pop in here, been wanting to farm up the pp to roll a lowbie ranger.

It looks like we have repops now as it should be. Velious coming out is the closest thing we can get to a wipe since it resets gear advantage. Also, people should have enough time to get 55+ before Velious releases.

A wipe won't happen.
