I can log into the game and get to the Server Select screen, I select the sever the click Play Everquest, the screen goes black and then goes to the login screen again.

I am using Windows 8 64bit and my video drivers are updated,

AMD FX 8350 with a Radeon HD 5800

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

its a long-shot, but are you running in win95 compatibility mode as administrator?
