You can't judge class balance on this video because Weta has like a 1:5 ratio of landing good jousts against Colgate. If he had been on an identical monk he would have met the same fate.

All the people saying hybrids suck are insane. Epic level 60 Ogre shadowknight is top tier, and even more so in velious. What he really needed was a sow potion to match colgate's runspeed and perhaps a shrink pot/aon, and someone playing him that can joust.

Hey I'm famous now! Talk about Colgate fun police.

I had jboots and self buffs, and I never had any intention of actually fighting, I was actually trying to log off for the night and was having a little fun messing around. At no point did I bother making a serious effort to win that fight, I was screwing around with Deluxee in neriak, Colgate came, I wasn't really interested in fighting against Tstaff monk, but I never fought colgate before, so I wanted a little taste, he proc'ed a bunch and I bailed for the night.

You people take this box wayyy too seriously. I'm here to enjoy myself, and if I was actually yaknow making a serious effort to fight back it would of been a lot different of a fight. I almost assuredly would of lost still, I defy any shadowknight to beat a skilled well gear iskar monk with tstaff on this server, specially if they proc three times, but that wasn't what I was going for.

I encourage any of you who wish to fight me 1v1 to send me a tell! I have no problem fighting some fun time honor duels, I'm not the kind of person to be like "I WILL SMOKE ALL YOU NERDS" but if you really think I'm bad then yo uare welcome to come prove it.

I don't think pve/pvp resists were identical for harm touch, I expressed this before, but I can't really prove it, so I admitted defeat on the subject like ages ago you just vanished from the thread :/ I just never had HT EVER get resisted in pvp on live, and especially not like it does here.

At that point I really had to go, I had about 25m, and only jboots because I stupidly forgot to click a sow potion, so I just decided to run around a little bit and then camp if I had room after a shadowstep or plug if I needed to.

Another backstab number 2, im chasing him around a lot at this point so they are a bit hard to avoid. Still Weta +1 which over this long of a fight is basically nothing. He is using guard damage and kiting a lot, which is fine because I dont think he has many buffs, and I have Hero/Stamina that are fading soon.

At this point I got a redic shadowstep and went reallly far so I ran off into nek and started lifetapping bears and whatever, was basically basically oom by the time colgate found me near the EC zone, I was worried Delux wasn't far behind so I wasn't particularly committed to trying to fight Colgate. This lead into the now infamous troll of

Also for the record, I think Deluxee is a excellent jouster, I'd love to practice with him one day in a casual way, but yaknow, Box venom does not allow such things. I've had the honor of going toe to toe with him a few times now in small pvp numbers situations, he finds some dirty backstabs.


Sorry bout not chopping out all the guard spam, that was a lot of work, And I usually just use my +/- autoattacks thing on all my logs to see how I did. Can't improve if you don't learn from mistakes.

Azrael was on a holy war that anyone not tagged Azrael was Nihilum or a Nihilum alt... I got rooted during swarm kites, pushed out of exp zones, etc... i know Weta was part of similar fun PVP adventures.

We were unbiased new players coming to this beatiful Oyster to relive the old days of going toe to toe with Ascending Dawn throughout Norrath, fighting the good fight for/with all the "Under-dogs"... and we quickly realized the "Under-dogs" where cancerous, backstabbing scumlords with no remorse who shoot first and don't bother asking questions later...

I agree... i think he runs a clean ship... but I think the Azrael infusion has caused more problems than anything else... It floored me when I heard Lite was leading a Sky raid... and I never looked back.

Honestly though, Azrael excluded PRAS heartbrand his intentions are pure and I hope he continues to make a difference on the server.

This is very interesting to me, actually i promote openness, let the community know who the douche bags were, i've had issues with people in azrael too and i was in that guild. I've told their leader many times that some bad apples were ruining it for them and i'd be happy to read if you're mentioning the group of people i was thinking of :)

When i was leveling in unrest when i just started here like a month or 2 ago, someone named Mrbigz kept killing me, he had epic and kept saying it was no big deal that a lvl 21 rogue had epic and it wasn't a game changer.

I was in half bronze and managed to buy a paw. he killed me repeatedly.

I later found out he was in azrael and thats what made my decision to join Nihilum easy.

That wasn't at all it, I was just mad you stole a Cenobite because I had been there for hours without him spawning, also you are literally making up my gear, I was wearing a Sarnak Tabard and a Collar of undead protectio. I didn't even have a FBSS, Weta never once had a fungi on his character till literally about 1 week ago. I couldn't even hold down both CEnobite and steel golem back then, so I don't even know where that part comes from, you just swooped in and gakked my cenobite and I was buttmad because you had a epic monk and I was wearing nothing, it was a pretty scummy.

I did have a granite face grinder a old rallos buddy loaned me, that I returned once I got my own weapon.

The incidents I'm talking about had to do with someone out of range training me in Cazic thule while I was camping Gate pots/Darkforge, because obviously if I camping ANYTHING in CT I'm nihil scum, it had nothing to do with the fact that I wore leather boots for 45 levels, and didn't get an FBSS till I was level 51(Which I bought with money made from selling golem wands)

I don't know where the idea that I was like twinked with a Fungi or some crap even comes from, my gear was terrrible, I didn't get a skull shaped barbute even till level 52.
