Just got a note in game that the server was being rebooted, again.

I have been having DC issues while logging into characters since yesterday, not sure what is going on though. Hopefully they can resolve it!

There was a 10 minute countdown for a server reset, then the server came back up and crashed after 10-15 minutes or so. Right as I was pulling a quad too :(. That's gonna leave a mark.

Velious.. I chuckle at the thought. I haven't played on this server in a VERY long time and people even then were speculating at the velious release being in 1 or 2 weeks. It kept people around. This is just maintenance.

it didnt crash. There was another 2 minute and 1 minute warning then that the server was coming back down. You probably missed it due to the pulling.

If you DC, a quad is gonna catch up and kill you. If the whole server came down though, your character, the mobs chasing you, the zone you were in, all of it is crashed at the same time, so you will log back in and still be alive. Server crashes/restarts are only ugly for a group that is in a camp when it comes down cause then when the people log back in 1 at a time they are in a room full of mobs, or for a chanter in a hostile city with illusion cause when they log back in the illusion will be down, etc.

When we came back, I saw someone /shouting "what..." and was like "uh-oh".
A minute later, I got my first warning: A 1-minute countdown.
