"Bumping" the original (now closed) thread (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114093) on this subject with the smoking gun (http://wayback.archive.org/web/20010406001349/http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/everquest/Forum1/HTML/000042.html).
I have seen the items in Plane of Sky get upgraded since the last patch (IE...if you turn in quest items they yeild upgraded and renamed quest rewards)....is there any chance of getting these upgraded items for those of us that have already attained the items? We worked just as hard as anyone currently has to for the items and deserve the same rewards. posted 04-04-2001 07:04 PM
I was wrong. While the quest items in the Plane of Sky were indeed adjusted a long while ago, it turns out that they were not patched until a few weeks ago.
His first post also indicates that the quests had to be completed again to receive the upgraded items; there were no exchanges.
