all the info posted there. Will be a beta to test shit. 100% classic. Faster exp so more focus is on pvp and loot and not on grinding. System is good for both casuals and poopsockers.

lol these kids have been trying to make a pvp server for years, every single time they launch a server it fails and never gains over 100 population.

Human team has Every class EXCEPT Shaman
Evil team is missing Druid, Ranger, Bard & Paladin
Elf & Dwarf/Gnome team is missing Monk, Shaman, Shadow Knight

Human faction would include:

Erudin
Qeynos
Surefall Glade
Rivervale
Freeport

Evil faction would include:

Elf and Dwarf/Gnome faction would include:

Human team is only missing Shaman

Evil Team is missing Druid, Ranger, Bard & Paladin but they have the BEST PvE/PvP tank race Ogre, Best PvP caster race Dark Elf & Trolls & Iksar are very good with their regen/stats.

Elf and Dwarf/Gnome team is now missing Monk & Shadow Knight. No FD tanks, pulls might really hurt lol

Now all teams are missing 1 big pve class Monk/Shaman/Bard. I think it's perfect now that each team has a weakness unlike before.

whyyyyyyyyyy, losing shamans on one team and bards on another team is not a good idea at all. not my server but i really think teams should be deity aligned like SZ. why try to reinvent the wheel?

i think there is going to be some serious balance issues going on here. nonetheless ill play.

image and dev made a sucessful server back during guildwars, it held over 100 pop i think around 200ish but it died after about a year. maybe they can do this right

i hope you guys reconsider the team layouts. shit looks awful. SZ teams or hardcoded vz teams. no custom bs.

The listed teams could work, I'd just like some assurances on MQ detection and other types of cheating. Is there boxing? Someone must know.

yeah it says on there webpage 2 boxing is allowed atm.

Yes, there is MQ detection, has been on all of their servers. The teams layout seems to have got the most positive feedback from everybody here, hence the reason why they will use it. 2 boxing is allowed till pop grows. Also, the reason why training is allowed is because it is a pain in the ass to police. I personally love training people so this is a + for me :)

There is going to be an open beta to make sure shit works. I do not think they want to just release a server without testing and tweaking some. Since Rogean and crew keep their code under their pillows, things need to be ironed out.

For the lazy:

Server is Classic zones only.
Experience is more inline with casual play.
Server Level Locks are in effect
IP Limit of 2
PVP after lvl 10 (4 lvl range)
Jboots and Manastone reverted to a Classic State (I.E. They are drops)
No item loot at this time.
Please Note Titanium client is required.

** No Server Wipes. All Character data will remain indefinitely **
** Training is legal and a valid strat for single players and SINGLE groups only, NO RAID TRAINING **



What are the server Rules?

Note: Report all Exploits and Bugs you find. If not comfortable posting in the bug section please PM it to image on the forums or report via in-game /bug and note to keep it private. If we see in the logs you have exploited something you will be banned. This includes external hacks (mq2) and broken or bugged game mechanics.

Rule 1: NO MacroQuest or other hacks, exploits (content, pathing, etc.). This also includes distribution and providing support for these 3rd party products. !! NOT ALLOWED !!

Rule 2: Be respectful of staff.

Rule 3: Training *IS* legal ONLY on single groups and Players only. Training Raids are NOT LEGAL.

Rule 4: Bind camping is NOT permitted. With one exception, if a player is afk at their bind. Once they are back from AFK status you must then move on.

Rule 5: Loot n Scoot rules are in effect (PVP-combat only). Please note there are victim rules and non-victim (observers/possible pvp combatants). Read both as they can apply to all parties in a different way.

Victim: After death you must announce you are on a corpse run, via OOC within 10 minutes of death. After announcing you have a total of 20 minutes to recover the corpse.
Victim: After being killed by another player you may take a DIRECT path to loot your corpse and then safely leave the zone you died in.
Victim: Unless agreed upon by all parties, you must leave the zone for 10 minutes minimum. After 10 minutes have elapsed you may re-enter. Please note that zone times are recorded!
Victim: If your bind is in the same zone, you still must leave the zone for 10mins. If you do not, LNS immunity DOES NOT APPLY.
Non-Victim: Players on Loot and Scoot are not to be touched! NO detrimental spells AT ALL! Should the player break the loot and scoot rules (they attack you melee or by detrimental spell) you may defend yourself.
Non-Victim: Players on Loot and Scoot have a varying window as distance can be a factor, however no time frame larger than 20 minutes from announcement to recover and be in a Loot and Scoot status.
LNS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR TRAINING OTHER GROUPS. YOU HAVE A TRAIN YOUR LNS IS FORFEIT.


Rule 6: DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION - we will not be held responsible if you have someone on your account because you shared your password and your items are stolen or they try to control your account via eqemulator.net.

Rule 7: We do not allow transfer of items/characters for monetary value - All transfers on this server should be on an item/plat/in-game 'currency' basis. No real money should be used in exchange for virtual characters or items on the server. Do not use our server or forums for conducting RMT it will result in a BAN!

Nor do we move characters because you forgot your password, or other such things, account security and the like are your problems.

Please note rules are subject to change. Also the FAQ will reference some answers that you may have regarding GM interaction.

They've already done the leg work but u are trying to reinvent the wheel. How is there an evil team but no good team? The grouping makes absolutely no sense to me. I just don't get it.

I think it is basically good/evil/neut. I'd love to hear, and I am sure others would too, what teams you think would work best. I know classic had good vs evil, but in the end, the issue was everybody went evil. I think the lack of certain classes in the evil faction here will even out the teams. Would love to hear your thoughts on teams though. I think these guys are open and as a whole, players want the best possible setup for the server.

The 'Teams':

The Good Alliance consists of: Erollisi Marr, Mithaniel Marr, Rodcet Nife, Quellious, Tunare
The Evil Alliance consists of: Bertoxxulous, Cazic Thule, Innoruuk, Rallos Zek
The Neutral Alliance consists of: Brell Serilis, Bristlebane, Karana, Prexus, Solusek Ro, The Tribunal, Veeshan.

There are no Agnostics on Sullon Zek. With the new influence of the gods, those that had not declared for one deity or another have been killed. Everyone now worships a deity, if not out of respect, love or fear of the god, then out of fear for their lives at the hands of fanatics.
Barbarian Shaman and Warriors can choose to worship Mithaniel Marr. Mithaniel Marr was unwilling to abandon all of the noble barbarians that served the good, and many declared themselves in favor of an alliance with Good.
Monks will be able to worship Veeshan. The Temple in Qeynos has discovered some ancient writings that opened up new avenues.
We will be including a method for the Good and Neutral teams to use Summon Corpse or something similar.

i could write about 33 pages of why these teams work the best but im not going to right now. i am so confused at the teams posted. its like someone literally just started drawing shit out of a hat. anyhow maybe ill make a post on the loz boards. well see. i am excited and will play regardless i just hope this teams setup gets fixed before launch.

If you are going to go 3 teams it needs to be sullon zek deity based or it wont make any fucking sense. if you want to do race wars then I suggest hard coding the vz/tz setup with 4 teams. that is all.

Selena from these boards came up with those teams. I am all for what works. I know eq is a pain when it comes to balance so any ideas that does the best job balancing teams I am all for. Please make a post on the forums there so it can be discussed. Server is not in beta so everything is up in the air and the way the server is laid out, aside from the rules ( they are pretty consistent for their servers) is up for discussion.
