So... what does it mean if I haven't been able to log in for months without skipping the EQ Emu? I was just starting EQ without it before. Now I do it and get to char select and my chars aren't there. I'm sad. Please help.

Right click the file tune is talking about, select properties and in the box under general add patchme to the end without the quotes

Change this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\EQEmuLauncher.exe"
to this
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Everquest\Eqgame.exe" patchme

and download and extract this:
http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files31.zip

to your everquest directory.

If that doesn't work PM me and we'll go from there. Might have patched your install to live but I doubt it.

step 1: make shortcut: Go to where your everquest is installed C > program files x86 > sony > everquest

right click the ''eqgame'' make a shortcut, edit that shortcut under properties to add patchme after the quote " "

step 2: change your eqhost: Go to where your everquest is installed C > program files x86 > sony > everquest

select the eqhost txt file and put it so this is what is to be read,

Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

step 3: download the spell files v31 from project1999.com main page, extract to everquest folder

step 4: log on

At this point, I don't think I'll have a chance to mess with it for a couple days but I'm pretty sure I'll get it working eventually.

Am I the only one who irrationally flips out when stuff doesn't work RIGHT NOW and no idea of how to fix? Lol @ my earlier post. Embarrassing.
