I know you're busy in real life, but i see that you've updated the priority pvp fix post at the top of the forum with other things like bow LOS on 1/19, but can you address melee damage? majority of the server agrees it's broken yet no response has been given

would rather have pvp where setting up CC and interupts to score kills than spam 111111 sunstrike

I would have never sunstriked someone on live rocking resist gear.

I'd open with it if they didn't see me comin' tho just cuz you can't see what they wearing and... hell.. roll the dice.

1. resist needs slight tweaking in the higher end partials, it seems with current code sunstrike is a minimum 500 damage nuke no matter how high your fr is.

2. melee damage needs to be toned the fuck down, especially the pure melees, warriors, monk, rogues are swinging and hitting for max and way to much/hard all the time, rogues are especially op, monks mitigation is alittle ridicolous too but maybe thats the way its suppose to be

Alecta needs to check and see if the original code for melee damage in PvP is in. It completely removes AC from the equation and instead uses your agility if you guys remember.

Melee interrupts way too much, AC doesn't work in PVP, and you're a bitter nerd who should go back to the nerd cave, nerd.

Melee interrupts way too muchNo shit, that's due to Null's custom code and has already been acknowledged.

PvP melee damage resolution should follow the same code path as that of PvE, unless there's evidence to the contrary, which means issues such as Strength to Attack Formula (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126078) and AC may not be working correctly (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118766) should be investigated before considering any changes.

The devs have little enough time as it is, without wasting it following up absurdly false claims: sunstrike is a minimum 500 damage nuke no matter how high your fr is.made by the perpetually clueless.

Sadly it doesn't. (This was why / is why defensive discs were broken for so long.)

please fix melees before velious is released, a 1handed damage/backstab reduction and the removal of the interruption component. melees will only be more overpowered with primal weapons and 15/19 delay weapons, while casters won't see any corresponding increase in spell damage

Cast thru walls, spell gems refresh when clicky is hit (even if you get the "unusable outdoors message, and oh hey its classic for blue server also) + get interrupted more trying to cast. Sorry but it was like this.

This is where there is a better balance of melee vs caster.

Also, it is classic.
