I started an cleric on red. Lv 20 currently. Soloing with an untwinked cleric sucks. And groups are more or less non existent.

If you start an char, use one with good soloability or have a thick skin and be patient :)

It's imho the biggest problem for new player. You dont get gear, and after every mob you are more or less OOM and have to med. I am more or less naked at lv 20.

1-50 as a cleric solo is pretty easy on this server. Just stay untagged and make friends.

Yeah I had a RL friend that had never played EQ before and he made it to level 33 or so as a cleric.
