Bard: Selo's speed not changing

Not sure if this is classic however it seems to have changed recently:

Before: I had selos running with my drum, I changed to weapons without turning off selos and the next tick of selo's would reduce my speed to that of not having a drum.

Now(just started noticing it, possibly after patch, didn't see any notes on this): I have selos running with my drum, I switch to weapons without turning off selos and I continue to run at Drum speed UNTIL I restart the song, tested indefinitely(or at least a few minutes).

I feel as if this new occurrence with no drop off is a bug, however I may have just missed something. Wanted to bring it to peoples attention.

This is why you see bards like myself running around with max selos and weapons drawn. This doesn't work with dots tho unfortunately =(.
