Previous actions shouldn't determine future guilt, but it does determine the level of punishment going forward. This isn't something new. There is no question Tune was guilty of this minor infraction with Exed. The only argument is if the punishment was too severe. Past instances of him being in trouble come into play.

Though technically, this and pleabargining are a corruption of the legal system, and once you serve your time, you are supposed to be reinstated into society with the same exact privilege as everyone else.

I know I forum quest a lot against Nihilum but I have nothing against the guild as a whole. I would rather play with HB than Nizzar at this point. The guild leader is the most important player in the guild but I know they aren't everything. I'm cool with putting my (limited) time in with RD. I'm just happy there are two sides to choose from. Having just one end game guild is why I stayed out of guilds for so long.

I don't play when a lot of the raiding goes on but it is nice to log in and see chances for mass PvP vs what the server looked like a couple months ago.

If 2 people are on trial for theft that means that a grand jury felt there was sufficient evidence for the charge of theft to go to trial for BOTH defendants.

Punishment is not discretionary or arbitrary unless the defendants plea agreement specifies an alternative. Typically if you have committed a felonious act and have been found guilty by a jury of your peers the punishment is mandated by statutes.

The matter of guilt and punishment based on previous guilt or convictions will likely end up in appeals. As the decisions of guilt was not based on presented evidence for the current charge but bias because of previous history.

Ergo Witch Trial..where speculation, half truths and rumor mongering led to the deaths of women without due process or appeal.

Therefore what we have going on is a clear attempt by a biased judiciary to eliminate specific players to promote their own agenda.

The reality is that what we promote within our community is a building of those friendships that will carry on to other games. Except seeing Spectre kill a bunch of players that had just been killed, plus him sending in a petition admitting he was killing players who had just been defeated in PvP.

Oh, and being in zone for the Tune YT, watching the pvp happening, seeing exed get killed then a minute and 15 seconds later Tune kills him again in the same zone, and then having you explain that he AoE'd a LnS'ing player, which is further reinforced by Tune posting his own personal logs showing the kill. 0 proof for sure.

GM's doing RL Attacks on players, not interested in upholding Nilbog and Rogean's staff code, and altogether being very unprofessional and bias'ed.

Oh, and being in zone for the Tune YT, watching the pvp happening, seeing exed get killed then a minute and 15 seconds later Tune kills him again in the same zone, and then having you explain that he AoE'd a LnS'ing player, which is further reinforced by Tune posting his own personal logs showing the kill. 0 proof for sure.

People sending me tons of tells and putting in a stupid amount of petitions isn't what got Tune and Spectre banned, it's just what brought me over to Red from Blue.

I would never ban someone based on hearsay from a player. I need to see it happen myself, or see enough to know that it happened. I was in zone (solb, then lavastorm) for both incidents, watching PvP happen.

That's really drastic, u know you could start with a restraining order, probably less expensive to get than murder actually. I do believe it is very possible to within the extent of the law, restrain someone from accessing p99 and the community, using legal grounds, and the FBI/local police to enforce it.

PnP isn't going anywhere. I said in another thread we are looking at ways to improve it. If someone couldn't follow the rules prior to that happening, it's their own fault for not being more careful.

BTW you are not curbing griefing...you are just killing PvP.

The information period was immediate and without warning. No one knew that a PnP policy was coming let alone think that PvP would result in bannings. Even when Federal Government changes administrative rules and regulations there is at least a warning "period" before the changes take effect and is printed in publication!

People that do violate PnP should be banned. However if we are going to rules lawyer PvP on Red99 there needs to be an appeal system governed by players.
