Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows if the quest for * of the Silent Fist armour in north qeynos works.

Seta Bakindo (in the monks guild) responds when hailed with:

'Ah.. Welcome friend. I am master Seta, of the Silent Fist Clan. We know that true strength lives in your soul. Once you have found and mastered it, your fists will be deadlier than any blade. I am also currently in charge of training our new recruits. If you are new monk of the Silent Fist I have some [tests] for you to complete.'

but she doesn't respond to "what tests", "I will complete the tests", or anything like that. Furthermore, I have never seen a Gnoll Jawbone drop in 5 levels of killing them.

Is this quest not-working? If so, is Seta responding to hails a bug?

Quest info here (not classic) : http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1959

Thanks

Explain "newbie" - are we talking pre level 20, here?

As in the quests put in all the starting areas that could get you a full set of (fill in blank here) armor. In this case it's Silent Fist for monks, in the case of your halfling druid, they had Moss Toe armor. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1690

But, those were added later and thus are not in game.

Ahh, that would explain why I had a "WTF" look on my face. Thanks!

Yeah, the progression server left those quests in and it dramatically changed the game. You didn't even need to look for armor until maybe 35 - considering what classic had available. Heck, those quests might even hold you over fine until planes armors..

Certain ones absolutely do! (if not taking into account later expansions.)
