Now, I am sure most of you have seen this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVrOmBUDBS0

Throughout the video, you clearly see the ranger swinging at a variety of ST mobs to some epic music. However, while playing my character, I run into an aethetic issue that annoys me slightly.

In the video, when the ranger swings his offhand, you can clearly see his entire right forearm and his epics as he attacks. You can also clearly see the entire weapons - nothing cuts out.

When I play my ranger, it feels almost as if my field of view is zoomed in a bit - I mainhand a jade made, and when I swing all I see is the head of the mace flying across my screen - the rest is cut out. I can't see my forearm and I can't see the slender part of the mace, or my offhand at all - just the mace head itself. Switching to a visually longer weapon doesn't seem to help. I see the last half of the blade and nothing else.

TL;DR - Is there a way or command I am forgetting that adjusts your field of view/magnification in the first person perspective?

Maybe has to do with running a higher resolution than the guy is running in your vid. Try lowering and see?

I thought about that, but because my monitor resolution is so high it just makes the EQ window tiny and kind of useless. I could always mess around with that though.

No dice, even down to 800x600 and it's the same issue.

Are you forcing anti-aliasing?

Is that an EQ option, or a computer option? I haven't seen it on EQ so I would assume the latter. I haven't messed with it at all, do you have any ideas how? I play EQ on an MSI GP70.

Forced anti-aliasing via my Nvidia card, no dice. Bump for great justice!

I reported this along time ago (using same video)

I dont think it can be fixed.

I was worried it might be a client issue. I just feel like it's too 'zoomed in'. Boo.

I refuse to level a melee in first person due to this. So annoying.
